Greetings all~
We as a collective called Women’s Works stand with the black community, black artists and people of color. We are listening, and joining the call to focus on action. We commit to being a strong ally and to lift the diverse voices that are needed to further our healing and growth as a community and culture. Dance and the arts are our link to one another and we commit to continued honoring of this movement of change. Black Lives Matter.
I echo these words: How can the arts help us speak the truth and create change?
Our intended reunion offering in 2020 will not be happening. Please stay in touch for details of our creative works this summer and leading up to next year. The next annual Women’s Works performance will be held on July 30-August 1st at The Camden Opera House
